[ LEGAL ] COOKIES & STORAGE

Cookie Policy

What cookies and local storage we use, how we group them, and how you stay in control. We treat consent as a first-class signal — analytics never run until you opt in.

LAST UPDATED — 20 JUNE 2026 · VERSION 1.0 (TEMPLATE)

Template — not yet legal advice. This document is a working template and must be reviewed and approved by qualified counsel, and reconciled against the cookies actually set in production, before publication. Bracketed [placeholders] mark details to confirm.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a site stores on your device. Related technologies — such as local storage— work similarly. They let a site remember things like your consent choice or measure how the site is used. We use the term “cookies” loosely to cover both.

2. The categories we use

Strictly necessary

Required for the site to function and to honour your privacy choices. These do not need consent because the site cannot work correctly without them.

  • cadive_consent_v1 — stored in your browser's local storage (not a server cookie). It records your consent decision so we do not ask again on every visit. Strictly necessary. Persists until you clear it or change your choice. Contains no personal identifier.

Analytics (consent-gated)

Help us understand aggregate usage so we can improve the site. These run only after you opt in and are disabled by default.

  • Provider — [analytics provider pending].
  • Purpose — aggregate page views, approximate region, device type.
  • Retention — [retention period pending].

3. Managing and withdrawing consent

You are always in control:

  • Use the consent banner shown on your first visit to accept or decline analytics.
  • To change your mind, clear the cadive_consent_v1entry from your browser's site storage; the banner will reappear so you can choose again.
  • Block or delete cookies via your browser settings at any time.

Declining analytics does not affect access to the site. Withdrawing consent does not undo processing that lawfully occurred before withdrawal.

4. Consent Mode

Where applicable, analytics tags respect a Consent Mode model: tags load in a denied state by default and adjust only when you grant consent. Until then, no analytics identifiers are set. [Confirm the exact Consent Mode configuration for the chosen provider.]
